It’s finally that time of the year again, and I’m not talking about Christmas or whichever winter holidays you may personally celebrate. It’s almost time for the 2014 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show! For the first time in Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show history, the angels are traveling overseas to strut the runway in London. All of the angels have been through hardcore training up until Dec. 4, last week, when they boarded a jet plane en route to London.
The angels landed at New Bond Street in London, where they took more pictures of course, and began the final preparations for the show. They all hit the gym one last time and were pampered for the following day when the show would be officially taped.
This year, there are many unique and exciting aspects of the 2014 show. We all look forward to seeing the Victoria’s Secret Fantasy bra that is made of precious jewels of all shades each year for the show. This year, there are TWO fantasy bras, each worth $2 million, which will be worn by veteran angels, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio.
The entertainment performing alongside the angels on the runway is a good enough reason alone to tune into the show. Victoria’s Secret invited back seven-time Grammy award winning artist, Taylor Swift, to rock the runway for the second time after her performance at the 2013 show. Swift, who could easily pass for an angel herself, gave a super sexy performance this year strutting the runway in a satin pink robe. The other three performers rocking the runway this year include: Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran and Hozier.
The runway themes this year are extra sexy and fun. They are: Gilded Angels, University of Pink, Exotic Traveler, Fairy Tale, Dream girl and Angel Ball. We can expect to see all of our favorite Victoria’s Secret Angels on the runway this year and some equally new stunning faces. The veteran angel lineup includes: Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel, Doutzen Kroes, Karlie Kloss, Lily Aldridge and Lindsay Ellingson.
