Miley Cyrus’s Bangerz tour recently took a stop in Los Angeles to entertain a few stars. Kendall Jenner, Harry Styles, and Olympic skier Gus Kenworthy were just some of the familiar faces who came out to attend the “eyebrow raising” performance as E! News would call it. But one star got more than a typical twerking Cyrus experience, that even led to a little bit of a catfight? You can be the judge.

Katy Perry managed to easily get front row to watch the “We Can’t Stop” singer and got more than what she bargained for. Perry and Cyrus got close, as they both leaned in for what Perry thought would be “a friendly girl kiss, you know, as girls do.” Liam Hemsworth’s ex went in for more and she leaned in to further the action between her and the “Roar” singer. Pulling away because of the unexpected behavior, Perry then walked away from the stage seemingly wiping her mouth as Cyrus looked in awe. Cell phone cameras were quick to snap the moment as fans went crazy over the not so PG behavior.

After the scandalous smooch, the current blonde Bangerz tour headliner declared to the audience, “I just kissed a girl and I really liked it a lot,” which is also a nod to Perry’s hit 2008 tune,” E! reported.
The “Dark Horse” singer had an interesting statement when asked about her lip lock with Cyrus when appearing as a guest on Australia’s Sunrise morning news show. After playing the weather girl in a hilarious segment, E! News reported that “Perry admitted that she was taken aback by her recent smooch with Miley Cyrus.”
E! revealed what the 29-year-old songstress had to say on the morning news show. “I just walked up to her to give her a friendly girl kiss, you know, as girls do,” Perry said, adding, “and then she like tried to move her head and go deeper and I pulled away.” “God only knows where that tongue has been,” Perry joked, then proclaimed, “We don’t know!” “That tongue is so infamous!”

Cyrus took to Twitter Mar. 6. to fire back at Perry after making her comments on Sunrise, tweeting, “Girl if ur worried abt where tongues have been good thing yur ex boo is yur EX BOO cause we ALL know where THAT been.” She continued, “Dontchyouuuu act like you didnt lurvvvvv it.”
Cyrus was clearly referring to Perry’s ex John Mayer. The two singers recently split just last week for apparent reasons of busy schedules. It does make sense since Mayer’s ex has a seven-month world tour starting up in May, but rumors say it is trust issues.
The Twitter feud continued as Perry retaliated to the 21-year-old singer’s dig by tweeting what seemed like a “friendly” response. “Oooo gurrrl I’m gonna give you the BIGGEST spanking when I see you in the UK bb!” Cyrus has yet to respond but we will be sure to keep checking seeing as she cannot stay away from social media for too long.
Lets take a quick trip back to when the former Hannah Montana star was only 15 and the “I kissed a girl” singer was only 23. E! hashed up the past scoop when reporting a “Frenemy Timeline” on the two stars. E! spilled back in 2008, Perry wanted to re-create the infamous Britney Spears and Madonna kiss that happened on at the 2003 MTV VMAs. When E! asked the Disney star just 15 at the time, if she would be open to the idea at the Teen Choice Awards, she said laughingly, “No thanks!”

Also in 2008, E!’s timeline revealed that Perry took a dig at the young pop star when telling YRB magazine, “I’m here in the business of f–king rock and roll,” she continued, “If people want a role model, they can have Miley Cyrus.” Oh how times have changed.
