The 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards will be taking place Sunday, Sept. 19, on FOX.  The always hysterical Jane Lynch is the host for the evening. Lynch is the third woman to host the awards, following in the footsteps of Ellen Degeneres(2005) and Angela Lansbury(1993) .

The award show looks to be greatly entertaining by the list of the immensely talented nominees. Mildred Pierce, starring Kate Winslet and Melissa Leo, takes the lead with a solid 21 nominations.  Not too far behind is Mad Men, coming in with 19 nominations.
