5 Reasons Donald Trump Would Make an Excellent President

If you have been tuning in to any and all media outlets for the past year, you will have noticed that one presidential candidate in particular has been receiving a lot of publicity. Donald Trump can often be seen on the news and popping up in day to day conversation. Sadly, the man does not get the credit he deserves and the attention he receives doesn’t do him justice.
- He’s All for Immigration
“I would build a wall like nobody can build a wall… Nobody can build a fence like me.”
If Trump would have read a history book, or consulted common knowledge about Berlin, he would know that this will never work. Not only is it unrealistic, but it’s also ridiculously expensive. Putting up literal walls in place of figurative ones. You go Trump!
- Lives Come First
“I’m interested in protecting none of them unless they pay us.”
This statement alone should have put the nail in the coffin of his political career. The man has zero regard for human life if it doesn’t bleed red, white and blue. Even then, it would have to be mostly white. Trump certainly takes the moral ground when it comes to foreign policy.
- He has a Fool Proof Game Plan
“Perhaps it’s time America is run like a business.”
The problem with the game plan is that he’s undoubtedly the fool. America, along with any other country is not a business, and if it were I would really rather it not go bankrupt four times. Sure, strategy and economics play a role, but the nation is not run on dollars, it’s run on the people who live within the society. The usual business model often is built on the idea of getting ahead. I, for one, don’t wish to be an ‘employee’ of the USA.
- He has a Firm Grasp on Feminism
“(Megyn Kelly) has blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever.”
Unsettlingly ignorant and sexist, Trump comments on why female, Fox reporter Megyn Kelly must have been acting a “certain way” at the first Republican Debate. Insinuating a woman menstruating is inappropriate, especially if the one saying it is running for President. If this was said in a business setting there would certainly be repercussions, even the possibility of getting fired. Let that sink in people.
- He’s Practical and not at all Rash
“I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters.”
Mr. Trump, please let me be the first to tell you that this is not the case. In case you have forgotten, you are not God. You are a rich businessman attempting to be a politician while boasting an enormous ego. Although it is only a statement, it is not something any Presidential candidate should be saying. The laws apply to everyone Mr. Trump, even the wealthy.
The man spews so much ignorance and hate on a daily basis that it is difficult for any other politician to receive the opportunity to speak about issues that are of real importance. Sadly, this race has seemingly been focused on Trump, a man with a great mind for business, but a laughable presidential candidate.
