Feb. 25 marks the date of the 11th annual Husky Student Leadership Summit. This free student leadership and professional networking conference will occur from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Kehr Union.

President and CEO of Make-a-Wish Foundation, David Williams

During the summit, Bloomsburg University students can expect to attend leadership workshops and professional panel discussions presented and lead by over 50 Bloomsburg University alumni and student leaders. This year’s featured keynote speaker is Bloomsburg University accounting alumni, David Williams who is the president and chief executive officer of Make-a-Wish Foundation.

All Bloomsburg University students are invited to attend the Husky Student Leadership Summit at no cost. This event, sponsored by the Center for Leadership and Engagement (CLE), Professional Development and Alumni Engagement, and the Campus Government Association (CGA), also creates an opportunity to dress professionally and have a professional headshot taken as well as pictures for the BU Yearbook.

This networking opportunity is something Bloomsburg University students can add to their resumes as well as credit towards their CLE Leadership Certifications (levels one, two or three).

To register, Bloomsburg University students can go to https://orgsync.com/129194/chapter and click on the registration form to fill it out online, using their BU username and password. Here students will be able to choose which sessions and events to attend, indicate if they will be attending the Leadership Luncheon and if they will need a shuttle ride pick-up from Lion’s Gate, upper campus, or off campus.

If you have any questions or want more information, you can contact the CLE office at stcle@bloomu.edu or call 570-389-4354.
