Calling all BU students! The countdown to the 10th Annual Husky Student Leadership Summit has begun. The all-day event, being held on Feb. 27, is free to students.
What is the Husky Student Leadership Summit?
The Summit is an opportunity that should be taken by every student at least once in their collegiate career here at Bloomsburg University.
The Summit gives students the opportunity to network with BU alumni and fellow students as well as gain skills in leadership, personal branding, event planning, resume writing, interviewing, and so much more.
Though the event is an all-day conference, you are not required to attend the whole thing. Want to go for one session and a mock interview? Go for it! Want to go to three sessions and a resume review? We won’t stop you! Below is the schedule of events for the whole day:
If you are at all familiar with American Ninja Warrior, then you may recognize that Hoan Do will be the keynote speaker and will also be having a book signing and giveaway.
So, why should you go?
The resources provided throughout the day give every student, regardless of what year or major they are, to be prepared for life after college. If you need an internship or are looking for opportunities to receive a job after graduation, the networking luncheon is perfect for you. Additionally, we provide professional headshots… for free! Free t-shirts, free food, an Instagram contest to win different prizes, and of course the opportunity to become a “leader in action” for now and your future; nothing seems quite better than that.
Go ahead, register now!
The 10th Annual Husky Student Leadership Summit is sponsored by the Community Government Association (CGA), Center for Leadership and Engagement (CLE), and Office of Alumni Engagement.
